Lumber has arrived!
Got an email from our PM today, after we emailed him for updates. (might I add that I am a little annoyed, he has not contacted us this entire time, unless we contact him first... but hopefully it will get better as time goes on. He is at least a nice guy.)Anyways, he said that lumber arrived today and that they will begin framing on Wednesday finishing by Monday! So excited!!!!!!!!!! I can't write much now, getting ready for work, but thought I would add a little update.. We will stop by lot on Wed and take pictures to post!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Sarah: We had some conversations about this a while back in the blogosphere. If you'd like weekly updates from your PM, you should make an agreement with him to do that, or shoot him an email to ask what the plan is week to week. When I started reading the blogs, I thought a weekly email was standard, but its a case-by-case basis and many of us have just made that arrangement with our PM. Ask for what you want, and you will get it. They want all 10's and will usually go the extra mile for you to get them!
ReplyDeleteDitto what Ranter said. Our PM usually calls each Thursday, but he also answers emails the same day or the next day at the latest.
